Brazil international Marcelo is prepared to push through a winter exit from Real Madrid in order to reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus.

  • Chelsea urged to sign Man City star on free transfer
  • Chelsea squad want Xabi Alonso as manager
  • Ronaldo made the switch to the Bianconeri on a club-record £100m deal during the summer and this ended his nine-year stay with the European champions where he struck up a close relationship with Marcelo.

According to Spanish outlet El Confidential, Marcelo is now keen to follow Ronaldo to the Serie A holders and could seek to secure his transfer at the turn of the year.

Marcelo has been with Los Blancos for the past 10-and-a-half seasons and during his period, he has won 19 major trophies including four Champions League crowns.

At present, the Old Lady are considering the future of Alex Sandro who has been linked with a possible move to Paris Saint-Germain and his departure could encourage a bid for Marcelo in January.

Marcelo has been ever-present for Real Madrid since the start of the campaign. Julen Lopetegui's side have made the perfect beginning with three wins in as many league games.
