King: Spurs will be stronger

King: Spurs will be stronger

13 March 2008 - 22:11

After PSV dumped Tottenham out of the UEFA Cup last night, Spurs skipper Ledley King believes that the team have come on in leaps and bounds this year and feels Tottenham will learn from their humbling experience this year.

  • Chelsea eyeing surprise move for former Arsenal striker
  • Chelsea & Man Utd want to sign Belgian winger
  • "For us to win something means that the season will still go down as a positive year for us. Now we have that taste of winning something, we believe we can go on and do more," King said.

"We still realise that we have a lot of work to do to maintain our standards of trying to win trophies and that's what we'll do. We have learnt from this and we will come back next year a stronger and better team."
