Dawson: Spurs season not over

Tottenham defender Matthew Dawson believes that the season is not yet over - despite being dumped out of the UEFA Cup by Dutch giants PSV. Tottenham are languishing in a mid-table position, but the England defender Dawson believes there is plenty left to fight for.

"Every game we play, we take it as seriously as the last one," insisted Dawson.



"And it's up to us to get up that league.



"Before the Carling Cup, if you ask the players they were looking forward to the final. That's gone now.



"It was a great achievement to win the trophy, full credit goes to the players



at Wembley, but we realise we have to push on."
