Madrid hunt Pavlyuchenko

17 March 2008 - 23:07

Real Madrid are reportedly lining up Roman Pavlyuchenko in the summer. Madrid are keen to add the Russian striker to their squad before he makes an expected impact in the Euro 2008 tournament this summer.

  • Chelsea expected to sell striker after loan deal
  • Arsenal defender misses training ahead of Man Utd game

  • More recently, Pavlyuchenko admitted that he would favour a move to Real Madrid: "Real Madrid. If they called me I would go straight there. Of course I would go if they wanted to sign me.

"They are my favourite club in Europe and if I went to the Spanish I would know exactly what is expected from Real Madrid in every game."

Real Madrid may have to pay up to £6 million to land the Russian.
