Bayern Munich plan fourth bid for Chelsea attacker

Bayern still keen on Hudson-Odoi

Bayern Munich plan fourth bid for Chelsea attacker

26 January 2019 - 18:29

German giants Bayern Munich are reportedly planning a fourth bid worth £40m in order to lure Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea this month.

  • Man Utd expecting €80m boost with double player sale
  • Man Utd set for big injury boost vs Bournemouth
  • The teenager has just 18 months remaining on his current deal with the Blues but he remains reluctant to pen an extension on wages of around £85,000 a week.

According to The Mail, the German champions are prepared to test the Blues' resolve further during the current transfer window with a bid of &pound40m prepared for the attacker.

The west London outfit have already turned down three offers with the highest being &pound35m for their graduate, but Bayern's upcoming offer may get them thinking regarding a probable sale.

Blues boss Maurizio Sarri has previously indicated that Hudson-Odoi holds the same importance to the club as Willian and Pedro but he has failed to make a single league start for the team this term.

Chelsea are scheduled to face Sheffield Wednesday in the fourth round of the FA Cup tomorrow night and Hudson-Odoi could feature in some capacity during the game.
