Walcott for England?

Walcott for England?

19 March 2008 - 22:21

Fabio Capello could be set to give Theo Walcott a return from the international wilderness for England. The Arsenal winger has put in a number of impressive display in the last month for his club.

  • Chelsea consider £39m deal for Lens midfielder
  • Chelsea ready to battle Arsenal for Brentford star?
  • Sven-Goran Eriksson gave Walcott his chance at only 16 years old, but Walcott has since been unable to find a route into the England international fold under Steve McLaren.

However, it now appears that Italian boss Fabio Capello is ready to give Walcott another chance.

Walcott has played a far more prominent role under Arsene Wenger this season scoring two goals against Birmingham at St. Andrews.

A number of excellent displays in the Champions League have also caught Capello's eye.
