Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot is supposedly close to joining Real Madrid after being linked with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United in the past few weeks.
The 23-year-old has declined to sign a new deal with Les Parisiens beyond June and he is widely expected to part ways with the club when the season comes to a close.
As such, he has been associated with Liverpool and United in the recent past but according to Sport, Los Blancos are seemingly leading the race to lure him to the Bernabeu.
It is added that the France international has already agreed terms with the European champions and a Bosman move could be announced formally at the end of the campaign.
Rabiot has failed to make a single appearance for Les Parisiens since December after forming a rift with the club's hierarchy amidst the refusal to sign a new contract beyond the current campaign.
