Atletico Madrid have signed Portuguese youngster Joao Felix for an enormous 120 million euros. The teenager becomes the 5th most expensive player of all time and signs a 7 year contract at the Spanish side.
Joao Felix one of Europe's most prized young players and the former Benfica star will be hoping to set La Liga alight just the same way he did last season in the Portuguese league.
The transfer move comes at a time when Antoine Griezmann looks set to leave Atletico Madrid for bitter rivals Barcelona and thus Joao Felix is considered a like for like replacement for the outgoing French international.
Joao Felix will move to Atletico in a deal that will be paid by the Spanish side in 4 installments to Benfica, over a three year period, and the player will earn a massive 180,000 euros per week at his new club.
Felix is now the 2nd most expensive teenager of all time, following in the footsteps of Kylian Mbappe, who swapped Monaco for Paris St Germain in another mega-money move.
