Donadoni focused on Italy

Italy boss Roberto Donadoni remains unconcerned by reports that the Italian FA are already lining up a replacement for him. Donadoni has refused to talk about a new contract; and with many believing Italy will fail during Euro 2008, Donadoni is confident they can defeat Spain in the international friendly.

“How am I experiencing this? In a very relaxed manner,” commented the Coach in this evening’s Press conference.



“After all, there are at least 15 or 20 other names being linked with my job already.



“If we lost in the friendly with Spain, then it would be fatal to link that back to the presumed confusion over my contract. The Press knows it’s an unfortunate habit, so they should stop writing about these things.”
