Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid could go head-to-head to land the signature of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal next summer.
The Gabon international has just 20 months remaining on his existing deal with the Gunners and he is said to be considering his future with the club's struggles in the Premier League.
According to El Desmarque, Aubameyang will be entering the final year of his contract next summer and his reluctance to sign an extension could see him head through the exit door.
It is added that both Barcelona and Real Madrid hold an interest in the experienced marksman and they could be a potential bidding battle to lure him to the Spanish top-flight.
Barca are eyeing a potential replacement for Luis Suarez, who has been struggling with regular injury concerns of late. Los Blancos, meanwhile, are similarly on the search for a new and experienced striker with Luka Jovic yet to prove a worthy competitor to Karim Benzema for the centre-forward role.
