According to a report by Football Whispers, Turkish Super League powerhouses Fenerbahce are reportedly planning a move for Chelsea winger Pedro Rodriguez ahead of the winter transfer window. It is reported that his agent will discuss with Damien Comolli, Fenerbahce’s director of football, regarding a free transfer to take Pedro to Turkey.

  • Pedro picked up a hamstring injury in the warm-up before a match against Norwich last August. The 32-year-old has not been able to earn his spot in the Blues starting lineup since returning from injury. The Spanish is now the fourth-choice winger at Chelsea as manager Frank Lampard prefers Callum Hudson-Odoi, Christian Pulisic and Willian over him.

Without the former Barcelona winger, the West London club won their last six Premier League matches. Their latest victory was the 2-0 win over Crystal Palace last Saturday. Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic both scored to secure three points.

The Blues are now at the third place of the Premier League table with 26 points after 12 matches, trailing behind Leiceister and Liverpool.
