Predicted Manchester United lineup (4-2-3-1) vs Club Brugge, Ighalo and Fernandes start

20 February 2020 - 16:10

Manchester United will tackle Club Brugge in the first leg of their Europa League round of 32 clash tonight.

  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts
  • Chelsea suffer double injury blow ahead of Villa trip

  • The Red Devils recently enhanced their Champions League prospects with a 2-0 win over Chelsea in the Premier League. The victory saw them win their third away game on the bounce and they have the chance to extend the impressive run on the road in Bruges.

    Predicted Lineup:

Sergio Romero has been the Cup goalkeeper for United and he has featured in the majority of the club's League Cup, FA Cup and Europa League games this term. He has kept seven clean sheets from just nine appearances and should start tonight.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should revert to the traditional 4-2-3-1 formation for the night. Aaron Wan-Bissaka is expected to be replaced with Diogo Dalot. Victor Lindelof may accompany Harry Maguire in the central defence with Luke Shaw on the left side of the backline.

Nemanja Matic and Fred have regularly started in the centre of the park with the likes of Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba out injured. Andreas Pereira is the only senior midfield option available to Solskjaer and the Brazilian may take up the place of compatriot Fred, who needs to be handed carefully with the high number of games, he has played this term.

In the attack, we are fancying Anthony Martial to feature on the left wing. On the opposite flank, Juan Mata may get the nod with Bruno Fernandes starting in the number 10 role. Odion Ighalo is a likely candidate to lead the line after a three-minute cameo to make his debut against Chelsea on Monday.
