RB Leipzig have reportedly offered Real Madrid the opportunity to sign Liverpool target Timo Werner during the next transfer window.Â
The German has been in superb form for the Bundesliga outfit this term and he has contributed 25 goals and 12 assists across all competitions.
Of late, Werner has been linked with a move to the Premier League with Liverpool, having previously admitted to being a fan of Jurgen Klopp's work at Anfield.
However, according to Marca, Leipzig are understood to have made contact with Los Blancos and they are willing to offer them the first chance of signing the in-demand attacker.
The same publication claims that the German outfit are aiming to build a strong relationship with Los Blancos such that they can benefit from future deals between the sides.
Zinedine Zidane is expected to have a big say on the transfer proceedings at Los Blancos ahead of next season. At the moment, Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland and Inter's Lautaro Martinez are said to be the prime targets.
