Arsenal to offload Alexandre Lacazette?

Arsenal could reportedly consider the sale of Alexandre Lacazette when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • The Gunners are likely to make multiple signings during the summer and that is expected to coincide with the departure of a number of players.

Aubameyang's future has been a topic of discussion with his contract expiring in 14 months' time but France Football claims that the club will do everything within their reach to keep him.

The same publication cites that Lacazette could instead head through the exit door with manager Mikel Arteta eyeing a new striker ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.

Lacazette has struggled for consistency during the course of the current season and he has managed just nine goals across all competitions, 11 less than Aubameyang.

Of late, Eddie Nketiah has got the nod ahead of him for the striker's role and there are doubts whether the Frenchman will stay put with the club beyond the summer.

Atletico Madrid have been long-term admirers of the former Lyon man and the Spanish outfit are likely to make an approach, should the Gunners place him in the transfer market.
