Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has expressed his delight after the Blues were able to register a 2-1 comeback win over Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday.
The west London side dominated the proceedings in the opening half, but defender Kortney Hause scored the Villains before the interval against the run of play.
In the second half, the Blues continued to maintain the possession of the ball and goals from Christian Pulisic and Olivier Giroud in the 60th and 62nd minute ensured that they came up with the three points.
Following the game, Lampard was delighted that his team came up with maximum points from the contest, which has been a rarity for the club since the beginning of the year.
"I am really pleased with the performance. Aston Villa had a chance to do this before us, but we moved the ball well. It has been a little story of our season, dominating but conceding. Pleased with a win," he told.
Chelsea have gone five points in front of fifth-placed Manchester United with the win. Their next game will come up against Manchester City on the road on Thursday.
