Liverpool refusing to lower asking price for attacker

Liverpool are reportedly refusing to lower their asking price for Harry Wilson.

  • The 23-year-old spent the previous campaign on loan at Bournemouth where he scored seven goals from 31 Premier League appearances.

In recent weeks, he has been linked with a potential exit from the Reds with interest from the likes of Leeds United, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Southampton.

However, none of those clubs have been able to meet the £20m asking price set by the Reds and The Mirror reports that the club have no plans of lowering the valuation.

Wilson has been loaned out to four different clubs, but he has mutually agreed with the Reds that his next move will be a permanent one away from Anfield.

So far, Villa have made the best proposal on the table with a £12m bid which has been rejected and it remains to be seen whether the club will come up with a renewed offer for the Wales international.
