Liverpool have approached Barcelona over a potential loan deal for Ousmane Dembele, a report from Sport claims.
The France international has been contracted to the Blaugrana since the summer of 2017, but he has made just 74 appearances in all competitions due to multiple hamstring injuries.
He has returned in fine shape for the 2020/21 campaign and Sport claims that the Reds are looking to land his services on a season-long loan agreement.
The Merseyside outfit have not spent significantly this summer, but they have already signed Kostas Tsimikas and are about to announce Thiago Alcantara's arrival.
Alcantara is expected to join the club from Bayern Munich in a deal worth £27m, but reports claim that they will only pay an initial sum of around £5m for his services.
Meanwhile, they are looking at the prospect of selling both Rhian Brewster and Harry Wilson and it appears that Klopp is keen on strengthening the attack with Dembele.
