Arsenal are in the market for Bayern Munich's central defender Lucio according to reports this afternoon. Arsene Wenger is keen to add more mettle to his central defence in preparation for next season.
Lucio is out of contract at the end of the year and the Brazilian has already suggested he would be interested in a move to Real Madrid or Barcelona.
However, Arsene Wenger remains a long-term admirer of the centre back and could swoop to sign a player that will break Arsenal's rigid pay structure.
Lucio earns around £50,000 a week at Bayern Munich, and the player is reportedly looking to earn closer to £65,000 a week.
