Chelsea are reportedly confident of keeping hold of Olivier Giroud beyond the January transfer window.
The Frenchman struggled to command regular gametime at the start of the season, but his fortunes have changed over the past month.
Giroud scored a stunning quadruple during the 4-0 win over Sevilla in Europe and he has since registered two goals from three league starts.
According to The Telegraph, the Blues are confident of keeping hold of the experienced striker beyond the forthcoming transfer window.
Giroud obviously wants regular playing time ahead of Euro 2020 and the Blues are prepared to oblige to his request.
The former Arsenal man has less than seven months remaining on his contract and he has yet to put pen-to-paper on an extension.
Giroud has previously stated that he would assess his future in January, but as things stand, he appears more likely to stay put.
He has been preferred upfront ahead of Tammy Abraham in each of the previous three Premier League matches.
