Leeds United will reportedly miss out on signing Fikayo Tomori on loan with the Chelsea defender on his way to Rennes.
The centre-back has dropped down the pecking order since the arrival of Thiago Silva in the summer and he has not made a single appearance since September.
Hence, he has been fancied to head out on loan in the near future and TalkSPORT claims that Rennes have already finalised an agreement with the Blues.
Marcelo Bielsa's side were aiming to sign Tomori to fill the void left by Robin Koch's knee injury, but they may have to look elsewhere after the defender's snub.
Tomori came on the cusp of joining West Ham United on a season-long loan last summer, but the deal fell through on deadline day as he wanted to fight for his position.
The England international has since struggled for regular playing time and will be eager to make a mark with Rennes during the backend of the season.
