Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso has been fancied to join Atletico Madrid on loan next month.
The left-back has been with the Blues for the past four-and-a-half years where he has made more than 150 appearances in all competitions.
However, he has been restricted to just three games this term with both Ben Chilwell and Emerson ahead of him in the pecking order.
He has not made a single appearance since September and Marca claims that he could make the switch to Diego Simeone's side.
It is added that the Madrid giants will propose to sign him on a temporary deal with the option to buy at the end of the campaign.
Aside from Alonso, Danny Drinkwater could also be shown the exit door when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.
The ex-Premier League winner is attracting interest from several Championship sides and the Blues could release him from his contract.
Chelsea will be in league action against Arsenal on Boxing Day.
