Manchester United make Paul Pogba transfer decision

United won't sell Pogba on a cut-price deal

Manchester United make Paul Pogba transfer decision

29 December 2020 - 20:41

Manchester United won't sanction the sale of midfielder Paul Pogba in the summer unless they receive a suitable offer.

  • Chelsea suffer double injury blow ahead of Villa trip
  • Gabriel Magalhaes to sign new Arsenal deal

  • The Frenchman is eager to leave the Red Devils and his agent Mino Raiola has openly stated that the likes of Juventus are interested in signing him.

According to Fabrizio Romano, United are open to the sale of Pogba in the summer, but they won't allow him to leave on the cheap.

The Red Devils have previously turned down the option of signing either Adrien Rabiot or Aaron Ramsey from Juventus in exchange for Pogba.

They want at least £70m to £80m for the Frenchman or else, they would prefer a swap deal involving a world-class player.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a possible move in the opposite direction, though the Portuguese does not hold any interest.

Ronaldo spent six years with the Red Devils before moving on in 2009. He is currently content to honour his Bianconeri contract.

Pogba's current deal expires in the summer of 2022.
