Tottenham Hotspur want to sign ex-Manchester United target

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly opened negotiations with Inter Milan over a possible loan deal for Ivan Perisic.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • Perisic returned to the Nerazzurri last summer after a season on loan with Bayern Munich and he has since been in-and-out of the starting lineup.

According to Foot Mercato, the Serie A outfit are open to loaning out the Croatian for the backend of the season and Spurs are said to be interested.

Spurs boss Jose Mourinho was eager to sign Perisic for Manchester United three years ago, but a deal failed to materialise due to the price tag.

The Portuguese continues to remain a huge admirer of the attacker and is hopeful of striking a loan agreement in the coming weeks.

Aside from Perisic, Spurs have also been fancied to re-sign Eriksen from the Nerazzurri. The Dane only left the club for the Nerazzurri 12 months ago.

It has been reported that any move for Eriksen may be dependent on the sale of Dele Alli to Paris Saint-Germain, given the lack of transfer funds.
