  • The Brazilian has impressed since arriving at Leeds from Rennes last summer, registering four goals and five assists from 18 league games.

His progress has caught the eye of the Reds and The Express claims that they could approach to sign him in a part-exchange deal.

The Reds are prepared to include one of Xherdan Shaqiri, Divock Origi, Harry Wilson, Sheyi Ojo or Marko Grujic as a makeweight.

Raphinha has impressed for the Whites with his electrifying pace, dribbling qualities and ability to take on defenders.

He also has the knack of unleashing long-range shots and his attributes have made him one of the top targets for the Reds.

Jurgen Klopp's side have lost momentum with a three-match losing streak in the league and they are now 13 points behind leaders Manchester City.

They are scheduled to face RB Leipzig in the Champions League round of 16 first leg on Tuesday and that will be another tough test for them.
