Barcelona have yet to make any form of contact with Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero.
Aguero has been a wonderful servant for the Cityzens with 258 goals to his name, but he has hardly played this season.
His current deal expires at the end of June and it was recently reported that the Blaugrana had placed a contract offer on the table.
However, according to AS, that does not appear the case and the hierarchy have yet to decide over a move for Aguero.
While the board are interested in the Argentine, manager Ronald Koeman is said to have the preference to sign Memphis Depay.
Depay came close to joining the Catalan giants from Lyon last summer, but the deal fell through due to financial constraints.
The Dutchman's contract with Les Gones expires in June and reports claim that the Blaugrana may return for his services.
Barcelona are currently second in La Liga with 56 points, six adrift of Atletico Madrid, who have been top since December.
