Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided a fresh injury update on Bukayo Saka ahead of the Premier League clash at West Ham United on Sunday.
The England international sustained a hamstring injury midway through the north London derby, where the Gunners won by a 2-1 scoreline.
He subsequently missed the midweek Europa League tie against Olympiacos and may require a late fitness test to face the Hammers.
In a press conference today, Arteta said that the attacker's fitness will be assessed ahead of the London derby against David Moyes' side.
"Regarding [Bukayo Saka], in the next two days, we will know if he is available to play against West Ham and after that we will make the decision on what to do," he told Arsenal.com.
Saka has bagged six goals and six assists from 34 appearances for the Gunners and he has played in the build-up of several other goals.
The Gunners are presently 10 points off the top four, but they have a good chance of reducing the gap with the game in hand against the Hammers.
