Ferguson wary of Chelsea

Ferguson wary of Chelsea

25 April 2008 - 16:32

Man Utd boss Sir Alex Ferguson hopes his side shows the same levels of concentration against Chelsea in the Premiership's crunch weekend match as they showed against Barcelona in the Champions League.

  • Martin Keown praises complete Arsenal star after Bournemouth win

  • He said: "There's a great incentive for us. What we've had to do is get the players recovered from Barcelona.

"We've had the disadvantage of a day's less rest than Chelsea and then there's the travelling of course. We'll do our best. We'll get the players rested and hopefully we'll be all right for Saturday.

"I said in December that I was looking over my shoulder at Chelsea because I thought they'd be a big threat to us, and I've been proved right.

"They're a strong and experienced powerful side and never at any stage in the season did we dismiss them.

"We showed good concentration levels against Barcelona and we'll need to produce the same again on Saturday. I've got a good bunch of lads and I'm confident they'll be ready."
