04 February 2022 - 16:21

Manchester United host Middlesbrough in the FA Cup fourth round tie at Old Trafford tonight.

  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts
  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players

  • The Red Devils are overwhelming favourites for the encounter, and should be fancied to register a third-straight win in all competitions.

Edinson Cavani, Jesse Lingard, Victor Lingard and Eric Bailly have been ruled out of the contest alongside the suspended Mason Greenwood.

    Predicted Line-up:

David de Gea has been the regular between the sticks in every competition barring the Carabao Cup. He should get the nod over Dean Henderson in goal tonight.

The defence could see a solitary change from the 1-0 win over West Ham before the winter break. Alex Telles was away on Brazil duty recently. Rangnick has confirmed that Luke Shaw will replace him at left-back.

Scott McTominay and Fred have been the regular midfield choices under Rangnick, but the latter could drop to the bench, having just returned from Brazil. Paul Pogba, who is fully fit after a thigh injury, could be handed his first start since October.

Bruno Fernandes and Anthony Elanga could take up the wide attacking roles  Jadon Sancho may have to settle for a bench role amid Elanga's promising displays.

Marcus Rashford, who bagged a dramatic 93rd-minute winner against the Hammers, could lead the line alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.

Predicted Manchester United line-up (4-2-2-2): De Gea; Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Shaw; McTominay, Pogba; Fernandes, Elanga; Rashford, Ronaldo.
