Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing PSV Eindhoven winger Cody Gakpo during the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils are planning another spending spree this summer, and have their sights on pursuing the Netherlands international.
Gakpo was heavily linked with a Premier League move last summer with Arsenal and Liverpool being among the admirers.
United have now joined the pursuit under the recommendation of Ralf Rangnick, who will take up a consultant role soon.
Gakpo has been in sensational form for Eindhoven this campaign, bagging 13 goals and 13 assists from just 33 appearances.
He is said to be open to a bigger challenge elsewhere. United are keeping track of him ahead of a possible summer approach.
The Red Devils could be losing at least two wide players this summer. Jesse Lingard is set to leave at the expiry of his contract.
Meanwhile, Anthony Martial could push for a permanent exit following his short-term loan stint with La Liga club Sevilla.
