Arsenal have suffered a fresh injury blow ahead of their Premier League clash against Southampton this weekend.
The Gunners are already missing Takehiro Tomiyasu, Thomas Partey and Kieran Tierney with injuries. The latter has been ruled out for the campaign.
It is now reported that Alexandre Lacazette is a big doubt for the Gunners, having been absent for the past few training sessions with the first-team.
The Frenchman has struggled to score from open play this year, and there are suggestions that he could be dropped ahead of the St Mary's clash.
Eddie Nketiah may start up front against the Saints, but it is unclear whether Lacazette will be deemed fit enough to make the bench on Saturday.
The Gunners have lost ground in the top-four race with back-to-back losses. They are now three points behind fourth-placed Spurs with a game in hand.
They can still make up the deficit, but things are looking gloomy at the moment with the injuries concerns around the first-team squad.
