The Giallorossi ended the previous season on a high with Europa Conference League glory, and they are now expected to back Mourinho with funds.

A new right-back appears one of the top priorities for the Portuguese, and Calciomercato reports that Roma could attempt to land Bellerin.

Bellerin spent the 2021/22 campaign on loan with Real Betis where he was hugely successful. He won the Copa del Rey title with them.

The Spaniard has made it clear that he would like to return to Andalusia, but Betis are not in a position to afford his services this summer.

This could urge him to move elsewhere. Roma are prepared to offer him an escape route with a fresh challenge in the Italian top-flight.

It has been claimed that the Gunners are prepared to offload their graduate for as less as €10 million. Bellerin will need to accept a pay-cut.
