In the 2021/22 season with Liverpool, he won the Carabao Cup and FA Cup, finishing second in the Premier League behind Manchester City and losing in the final of the UEFA Champions League vs Real Madrid, scoring 23 goals and assisting 4 in all competitions.
Chelsea's Christian Pulisic is the main target as the American ended the season with the Blues frustrated and disappointed with a lack of game time. To add to that the London team is left uncertain regarding the position of Pulisic since he has failed to keep a consistent level of form. Looking for first-team football in Liverpool might be hard for Pulisic since he will have big shoes to fill competing for starting positions primarily with Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah on the wings. Pulisic had a season filled with injury struggles, he ended the 2021/22 campaign with 8 goals and 5 assists in 38 appearances across all competitions. He is valued at around £50 million pounds.
