Chelsea could make a fresh approach to sign Barcelona winger Memphis Depay during the January transfer window.
The Blues were hot on the trail of the Netherlands international last summer, but he ended up staying with the Catalans.
Depay has since struggled for playing time amid a hamstring injury but he is expected to be fit during the World Cup.
It is now reported by Fichajes that the Blues could make a fresh move for Depay when the transfer window reopens.
The Dutchman is also said to be open to leaving the club as he has no assurances of a regular starting role in future.
Aside from the Blues, Juventus are expected to make a move, having failed to sign him on several occasions in the past.
The Bianconeri wanted him on a free transfer from Lyon and also attempted to bring him to Turin in the last transfer window.
It remains to be seen whether they are third time lucky.
