Manchester United are reportedly favourites ahead of Chelsea to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen this summer.
The Red Devils are expected to land a marquee striker at the end of the season and Osimhen is the top target for them.
They have been in contact with the player's entourage since January and Il Mattino report that they are in pole.
However, this does not mean anything, considering Napoli won't sell the 24-year-old unless their valuation is met.
The Serie A outfit valued Osimhen at €100m last summer, but the price tag has increased to €150m amid his current form.
Osimhen has been sensational for Napoli in Serie A this season. He has bagged 16 goals and four assists from just 17 games.
United are actively pursuing the former Lille marksman but they will have to be wary of the interest from Chelsea.
The London outfit have spent a staggering €700m on players in the last nine months and are still eyeing a new striker.
