01 March 2023 - 18:58

Manchester United will be aiming to progress to the FA Cup quarter-final when they entertain West Ham United at Old Trafford tonight.

  • Mauricio Pochettino reacts after Chelsea's win vs West Ham
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • The Red Devils recently won the Carabao Cup against the Magpies and they will be aiming to secure more silverware via the FA Cup.

    Predicted Line-up:

David de Gea has been almost ever-present in goal this term. He recently bagged his 181st clean sheet for the Red Devils - the most by any player in the club's history. He is expected to start tonight.

In the backline, we could see a complete reshuffle. Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez could be given a breather with Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof starting in central defence.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka should come in for Diogo Dalot at right-back while Tyrell Malacia is likely to replace Luke Shaw at left-back. The England international is doubtful for the game.

Casemiro has been a vital figure in the number six role for United and should start again. Marcel Sabitzer could partner him as Fred is doubtful for the Cup tie with a minor injury concern.

In attack, Marcus Rashford and Antony could be rested with Alejandro Garnacho and Jadon Sancho taking their places out wide. Bruno Fernandes should feature in the number 10 role with Wout Weghorst up front.

Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Malacia; Casemiro, Sabitzer; Sancho, Fernandes, Garnacho; Weghorst.
