Arsenal have made an opening bid to sign Chelsea forward Kai Havertz, according to The Telegraph.
The Gunners are aiming to make multiple signings during the summer transfer window and Havertz is currently on their radar.
An opening offer of around £40m was made earlier today, but the Blues turned it down immediately.
The Blues are looking for £75m for the German attacker, but may have to lower their valuation to sell him.
Havertz had a difficult 2022/23 season with the Blues. He managed only nine goals across all competitions.
Hence, his valuation has dropped significantly. The Blues may have to cut their losses on him this summer.
Real Madrid are also interested in the former Bayer Leverkusen man, but they are unwilling to pay over £50m.
Apart from Havertz, Mason Mount, Mateo Kovacic, Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech could leave Chelsea soon.
The London outfit are reportedly desperate to balance their books before the Financial Year closes on June 30.
