Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said that midfielder Thomas Partey needs to be assessed after his groin injury in training.
The Ghanaian played 90 minutes in the first three games of the season, but he was out of the matchday squad against Manchester United.
In his pre-match comments, Arteta confirmed the setback for the midfielder and added that he will be assessed in the coming days.
Arteta did not provide a perfect timeline for his recovery, but it is anticipated that he could return to action after the internationals.
The Gunners picked up their third win of the campaign on Sunday with a dramatic 3-1 win over the Red Devils at the Emirates.
The game was all square heading into stoppage time, but Declan Rice made the difference with a 96th minute goal for the Gunners.
Gabriel Jesus put the gloss on the performances with a third goal on the counter-attack following a quality assist from Fabio Vieira.
With the victory, Arsenal have moved to fifth in the Premier League table with 10 points, two behind leaders and holders Manchester City.
