Arsenal are reportedly confident that midfielder Thomas Partey will recover from his groin injury ahead of the Premier League clash against Chelsea next month.
The Ghanaian star suffered the setback in training before the Manchester United game and he was not in the matchday squad to face the Red Devils on Sunday afternoon.
Reports have confirmed that he will be out of action for around six weeks. Arsenal had the chance to land a replacement on deadline day, but they opted against one.
It is now claimed that the north Londoners are confident of having Partey back in the squad after the October international break. This means he could be fit to face the Blues.
The Gunners face their London rivals at Stamford Bridge on October 21st. If Partey makes his recovery without any setbacks, he could be in the matchday squad.
Arsenal have made a good start to the Premier League campaign and they are currently on 10 points after the first four games.
