Manchester United attacker Alejandro Garnacho has said that he was in disbelief after scoring with a stellar bicycle kick against Everton.
The Argentine was on a long goalless streak before his moment of brilliance at Goodison Park. He rolled back the years with an overhead kick similar to Wayne Rooney's.
Speaking after the 3-0 victory, he admitted that he could not believe the accuracy of the strike and did not see the ball go in. He reacted to the noise from the ground.
He said: "I can't believe the goal to be honest. I didn't see it go in, I just heard from the ground and thought 'Oh my God!' It's one of the best goals I've scored – maybe goal of the season though it's only November."
Garnacho has been described as one of the best young talents in the Premier League and he showed his potential with a stellar strike at the expense of the Toffees.
The win has taken United back to sixth in the standings and they will now focus on the Champions League with a crucial away game at Galatasaray coming up.
