Arsenal are likely to keep goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale until the end of the campaign, according to David Ornstein.
The Englishman lost his starting spot to David Raya after the September international break and he has since made only three appearances.
Raya has made some high-profile errors during this period, but manager Mikel Arteta has continued to back him to come good for the club.
It is now reported by Ornstein that the Gunners have no plans of loaning out Ramsdale and will only accept a permanent transfer next year.
The club are looking for around £50 million for the former Sheffield United man and may not accept anything in January or in the summer.
Ornstein believes the Gunners want to keep Ramsdale until the end of the campaign and they could assess his future during the off-season.
Meanwhile, Ramsdale has been training well like a model professional and he has shown no displeasure despite his lack of minutes at the club.
