Chelsea are planning to part ways with Conor Gallagher in January in order to target a new striker, according to ESPN.
Gallagher has been a mainstay in the starting XI under manager Mauricio Pochettino and has rarely missed a game.
Despite this, there is speculation over his future at the club and ESPN cite that he could be sacrificed to land a striker.
The Blues are prepared to accept around £50 million for the Englishman as he would represent pure profit in terms of FFP.
This would allow them to spend the entire fee on a new centre-forward. Brentford's Ivan Toney is the main target.
Toney will be back from his betting ban in the middle of January and he is expected to leave Brentford for a new team.
Arsenal are deemed to be favourites to land him, but Chelsea can't be ruled out of the pursuit of the former Newcastle man.
Toney will make a decision over his future pretty soon.
