Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount has returned to first-team training after recovering from a calf injury.
The England international has had a tough debut season with the Red Devils and he has yet to score in any competition.
Mount picked up a hamstring injury after just two games into the new campaign. He sustained a calf issue on his comeback.
He has been on the sidelines for the past few weeks, but could be in contention to face Nottingham Forest this weekend.
Erik ten Hag recently said that Mount won't be available until the New Year, but it seems that he has returned ahead of schedule.
He could get a cameo off the bench against Forest on Saturday. Christian Eriksen is most likely to start from the number eight role.
United returned to winning ways with a stunning 3-2 comeback win over Aston Villa yesterday and will be aiming for another three points at Forest.
The club are currently sixth in the league table with 31 points.
