Chelsea are reportedly one of the clubs that could consider signing former Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson this month.
The England international made a surprise move to Saudi Arabia with Al-Ettifaq last summer but he is now contemplating an exit.
Henderson is said to be concerned over the hot weather in the Middle East and prefers a potential return to English football this winter.
He is ready to accept a humongous pay-cut on his £700,000-a-week wages and it remains to be seen whether a deal materialises.
Chelsea are reportedly one of the clubs interested in signing him as they look to add more experience and leadership in midfield.
The club have Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo, who are among the best young midfielders in world football at the moment.
However, they are looking for an experienced figure to guide them and Henderson is being considered as a potential target.
Henderson has also been linked with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace. He could make a move very soon.
