26 January 2024 - 18:51

Chelsea welcome Aston Villa in tonight's FA Cup fourth round tie at Stamford Bridge.

  • Serie A striker wants to join Arsenal or Chelsea
  • Mikel Arteta confirms double fitness blow for Man Utd game

  • The Blues recently booked their spot in the Carabao Cup final with a convincing 6-2 aggregate win over Middlesbrough.

They will be aiming to make progress in another Cup competition tonight. Mauricio Pochettino could make a solitary change.

    Predicted Line-up:

Djordje Petrovic has been the Blues' undisputed choice in goal since Robert Sanchez's injury. He is expected to continue between the sticks.

In defence, it should be the same back four from the Boro win. Axel Disasi, Thiago Silva, Levi Colwill and Ben Chiwell are likely to retain their places.

In the centre of the park, Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez are the regular pairing and they are expected to continue against Villa.

Further forward, Mykhailo Mudryk could drop to the bench with Conor Gallagher likely to be reinstated into the Blues' attack tonight.

Gallagher's future remains doubtful at the moment, but he is still a key player for the Blues. He should start in the number 10 spot.

Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer are expected to feature on the left and right wing respectively with Armando Broja leading the line.

Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1): Petrovic; Disasi, Silva, Colwill, Chilwell; Caicedo, Fernandez; Palmer, Gallagher, Sterling; Broja.
