Manchester United have joined Arsenal in the race to sign Ajax goalkeeper Diant Ramaj during the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils signed Andre Onana as David de Gea's replacement last summer. Altay Bayindir was recruited before the deadline to provide back-up.
Onana has since been the undisputed starter for United in all competitions and he has missed just one game against Newport County due to AFCON duty.
Meanwhile, Bayindir has not got a chance to prove his credentials and it appears that he could move on when the transfer window reopens.
With this in mind, United are on the hunt for a new shot-stopper and it is reported that Ramaj has emerged as a top target for the hierarchy.
The Red Devils are likely to face competition from the Gunners for the talented 22-year-old, who is currently valued at €25 million.
Mikel Arteta's side view him as a replacement for Aaron Ramsdale, who is expected to leave the club in the search for regular game time.
Ramsdale has played second fiddle to David Raya this term.
