Manchester United have been linked with a shock move to sign Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes at the end of the season.
The Red Devils are expected to land a defensive midfielder this summer with Casemiro widely fancied to be sold in the next transfer window.
They have been linked with multiple names but AS claim that United could make a possible swoop for Guimaraes ahead of the likes of Chelsea.
The Brazilian has been brilliant in the number six role for the Magpies since arriving from Lyon. He has 10 goal contributions in the current season.
Apart from his involvements, he has averaged more than 7.1 duels won per game with two tackles and nearly six ball recoveries per outing.
His statistics are hugely impressive and he could be tempted to pursue a bigger challenge at the prime of his career this summer.
United are unlikely to secure his services on the cheap, considering there is a high £100m release clause in his new Newcastle deal.
