Manchester United have commenced talks with Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot over a free transfer at the end of the season.
The Red Devils have been constantly linked with a move for the World Cup finalist since his failed transfer in August 2022.
Back then, a deal did not materialise due to differences in personal terms, but United could secure his services this time around.
According to Calciomercato, Rabiot is unlikely to continue with the Bianconeri when his contract expires on June 30.
The Turin giants are set for a financial boost with their participation in the Club World Cup next year, but they are still cautious.
The club have declined to hand an improved deal to Rabiot and he has apparently made the decision to move on from them.
United are one of his long-term admirers and they could be tempted to make a contract proposal in the coming weeks.
Rabiot is free to negotiate a pre-contract with an overseas club. Newcastle United are also keen on landing the ex-PSG star.
