Bournemouth will complete a permanent deal to sign Turkish international Enes Unal this summer, as the forward appears to have impressed the Cherries' hierarchy during a loan period this season. Unal is on loan at Bournemouth from Spanish club Getafe, and a deal has been agreed for £14 million.
The forward has not played week in week out, but is one of the players that has impressed manager Andoni Iraola this campaign.
Getafe have already agreed a fee with Bournemouth and all that is required is personal terms to be agreed between the player and new club. It is understood Unal will be backup to Dominic Solanke next season as well. Unal can play as an attacking midfielder or a forward but his preferred position is as the number 10.
Speaking to the press, the Spanish manager said of an impending deal: “Yes, it is going to be permanent.
“I am really happy, especially with his attitude, how he is integrating on the pitch and off the pitch.
“I think it is a very good signing for us.”
