Manchester United are eyeing a surprise swoop for Barcelona wonderkid Vitor Roque this summer, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The 19-year-old joined the Catalan giants in January this year, but he has since played only 310 minutes in all competitions.
Roque has failed to displace Robert Lewandowski for the number nine role, and he has been restricted to minutes from out wide by manager Xavi.
The youngster has not given up on becoming a regular starter, but Barcelona could be forced to offload him on loan this summer.
The Catalan giants have not played any of the €61m fee agreed and La Liga are likely to block his registration for next season.
This could pave the way for his loan exit and a number of European teams are said to have made contact with his agent lately.
United are one of those who have made a surprise enquiry. They were keen on signing him before his move to the Blaugrana.
