Manchester United are open to keeping Sofyan Amrabat beyond his season-long loan deal, according to Manchester Evening News.
The Morocco international signed for the Red Devils on loan from Fiorentina last summer with an option to buy for around €25 million.
Amrabat had a difficult first half to the season for the club and he was subsequently dropped to the bench after the turn of the year.
However, he managed to redeem himself in the final month of the season. He made four straight starts and starred in the FA Cup final win.
Amrabat wants to stay at the club beyond the summer and reports claim that United have yet to make a final decision regarding his future.
The club are currently focused on the season review and they are expected to confirm soon whether Erik ten Hag will stay as manager.
Once that happens, the Red Devils could decide what to do with Amrabat. The 27-year-old will be hoping to pen a new permanent contract.
